Problem Identification

The existing Plastisol coating to the metal sheeting was in poor condition with a large percentage of the metal sheeting exposed with several leaks throughout the roof area.

Evaluation

The building houses valuable production machinery and requires the roof to be sealed to prevent leakage onto the equipment below.

Solution

We proposed to apply a Rooflock Twelve high performance liquid-applied weatherproofing system in accordance with the manufacturer's specification provided.

The multi-layer system results in a seamless barrier membrane which enabled encapsulation of every detail and provided waterproof protection throughout the roof area.

The system is cold-applied by brush or roller and can be applied whilst the building is occupied, meaning no disruption to the building’s operations.

The specified system provides a long-term solution with a 10 year guarantee on both materials and workmanship.
